Welcome to Koda Bear's Cubs. Our journey began with an enduring love for the gentle, joyful, and affectionate nature of the Shih Tzu breed. To us, these little "lion dogs" are far more than pets—they are soulful family members who bring unconditional warmth to any household.
We operate strictly as a boutique breeder in Manquin, VA. That means we focus on quality over quantity. We do not keep kennels or outdoor enclosures; every adult dog and newborn puppy lives directly inside our home alongside our family.
From their first breath to the day they head off with their forever families, our puppies receive continuous touch, early neurological stimulation, socialization with everyday sights and sounds, and endless love.
